Today, I learned the true importance of appropriate footwear. I ran across the border with my brother to sell programs at the wsu football game in order to raise money for a club I'm a part of in the area. However, without thinking, I grabbed a cute pair of gold flats instead of my dirty tennis shoes, thinking it made for a much better topper (bottom-er?)to my outfit.

After three hours in below freezing temperatures and standing on concrete, the "cuteness" of my shoes began to matter a whole lot less. I slowly lost feeling in my toes, then heels, then entire bottom half of my body. Long story short, I definitely learned my lesson this time around!

I released a bunch of pictures on my Facebook page of the engagement shoot I did. HOWEVER, that wasn't all of them!! We had so many great shots, I just finished editing them all TODAY! Here is another great shot that even the couple hasn't seen yet! (shh... don't tell them I showed you first...)

So perfect for a Christmas wedding, right? Speaking of which, thank you to the many people who offered their assistance for the wedding in December! I have locked in one assistant and an additional shadow photographer. I'm so excited about this opportunity and to just be a part of recording the memories for these two!!

Have a wonderful weekend, lovelies.

It seems like everyone does a throwback Thursday these days. I've never been one to really participate (mostly because I cringe at old pictures of myself) (my entire high school/junior high/grade school career were my awkward ages) (but really).

However! I'm going to throw one up on here! Enjoy, wonderful readers, a picture of the good old days when I thought life was all about cuddling with the grandparents and wearing cool sweat suits (still might be true).

Enjoy your Thursday!

Alright, today wasn't really all that wacky. I'm just playin. Honestly, I have the hardest time coming up with titles to these blog posts, so, you know... there you go.

Here's a shot I took of MK. We had an amazing afternoon together taking some fashion photos!

I shall see you tomorrow, folks!

oh! and p.s.
I was asked to do a wedding shoot (my oh my!). I am in the market for an assistant. Someone to hold my bag, help me pose, and serve as a second photographer for those "gotta get" moments. Message me if you're interested at chaiteaworkerbee[at]gmail[dot]com

About Me

I smile big and laugh with my whole belly.

I like boat rides on the water, pretty mountains, and red wine.

I have photographed weddings, senior photos, parties, families, and much, much more - and it remains to be a fun hobby I get to explore and improve on every day.

This blog is to document my travels, organize my portfolio of photography work, and chronicle a small amount of my thoughts.
